When you arrive at the front desk, you will be greeted by one of our helpful Patient Care Coordinators. They will weigh your pet and bring you to an examination room. For most appointments, a veterinary technician will start by discussing the reason for your visit, taking your pet’s medical history, and gathering data for the doctor.
One of our veterinarians will then meet with you and your pet, discuss your concerns, perform a physical examination on your pet, recommend additional diagnostics if needed, and create your pet’s individual care plan. This is a great time to ask questions as our veterinary team wants you to be comfortable with the information we are providing and know that we have addressed all of your concerns.
A veterinary technician will likely come back to finish the appointment by providing additional pet care information and medications if needed. Our Patient Care Coordinators will process your payment at the front desk and schedule any needed follow up appointments.
Depending on the reason for your visit, you may receive a follow up call from one of our veterinary technicians to get an update on your pet since their visit. If you have any questions or concerns, please share these with the technician.
It is our goal to see all our clients and patients in a timely manner. Although we have contingencies for emergencies, there may be times when the unexpected will create delays. We do our best to minimize these as we value your time and attention.
